Catherine Barranco

Funeral Director

Catherine "Kitty" founded Barranco Funeral Home with her husband Robert S. Barranco, Sr. in 1960. Kitty is also an active member of St. John the Evangelist Church.

John Barranco

Funeral Director

John has served the community at Barranco Funeral Home since 1983. He is a second generation Funeral Director.

John graduated from Severna Park High School and the Mortuary Science Program at the Community College of Baltimore County.

He is a member of Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church and the Anne Arundel County Police Reserve Unit. John is also a member and past President of the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce.

He enjoys playing golf and family vacations in Ocean City.

John is married, has 3 children and 4 grandchildren.

Kathleen Barranco Bollino

Funeral Director

Kathleen is a third-generation funeral director with deep roots in her community. She graduated from Severna Park High School in 2009 before attending Loyola University Maryland, where she played lacrosse and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2013. After college, she joined her family’s business and found that supporting grieving families was work she wanted to continue. She went on to earn her degree in Mortuary Science from the Community College of Baltimore County and became a licensed funeral director in 2017. Kathleen finds the most meaning in her work by helping families navigate the funeral process with ease, while offering compassion and comfort during difficult times.

Kathleen resides in Severna Park with her husband and their three children. She is an active volunteer with Serving People Across Neighborhoods (SPAN) and a member of the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the beach, and being with family and friends.

Tyler Clymer

Funeral Director

Tyler joined Barranco Funeral Home in 1993 and graduated from the Catonsville Mortuary Science Program. Tyler has served as a Funeral Director and became the funeral home's manager in 2010. He takes pride in being able to ease the burden and help families during a difficult time. Tyler lives in Odenton with his wife and three children.

Kyle Glenn

Funeral Director

Kyle joined Barranco Funeral Home in 2013 as a part time funeral assistant. He graduated from The Community College of Baltimore County earning an Associate's Degree in Mortuary Science in 2014 and became a licensed funeral director in 2015. In 2019, Kyle moved to Salida, Colorado where he served as a funeral director at his family's funeral home. After becoming homesick for Maryland in 2021, he moved back to the Annapolis area where he served the community as a funeral director. In 2023, he rejoined Barranco Funeral Home.

Funeral Director

Robin graduated from the Mortuary Science Program at the Community College of Baltimore County. Robin served her Apprenticeship at Barranco Funeral Home in 2020. Robin became licensed in 2021 as a Funeral Director.

Carolyn Barranco Russell

Office Administrator

Carolyn graduated from University of Maryland Baltimore County and taught in Anne Arundel County Schools prior to her career with Barranco Funeral Home. Carolyn serves as the Office Administrator.

Josh joined Barranco Funeral Home in 2015 and serves as a Funeral Assistant.

JoElla Clymer

Funeral Assistant

JoElla joined Barranco Funeral Home as a Funeral Assistant in August 2025. JoElla is a recent graduate of Miami Dade Community College, where she earned her Associate’s Degree in Mortuary Science. She is actively working toward obtaining her funeral director’s license. JoElla is a second-generation funeral professional, and funeral service has always been a part of her life. In her free time, JoElla enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
