Nancy Parks Spicer, a long time resident of Arnold, Maryland, passed away on September 13, 2017, at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. Parks III and Nannie Wilkinson Parks; her husband of 61 years Charles V. Spicer Jr. (USNRET); infant daughter Sally Ann; a brother William H. Parks IV; and a sister Mildred Parks Willets White. She is survived by her son Charles V. Spicer III; her daughter Nancy L. Rutledge (Randy); her granddaughter Rebecca P. Lampkins (Ben); and her great-grandson John Pierce Lampkins (JP).

Nancy was born in Virginia and later moved to Washington, D.C. She married her husband "Bud" in 1950 and enjoyed being a Navy wife, as well as working for Riggs Bank in Washington, D. C., and for Anne Arundel County Government. Her family and friends will always remember her crystal blue eyes and the way she could see the humor in so much of the world around her.

Friends are invited to a Memorial visitation with a luncheon on Friday September 22, 2017 starting at 12:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial service at 1:00 p.m. in the Severna Park United Methodist Church 731 Benfield Rd. Severna Park, MD 21146. She will be buried alongside her husband at the Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, Maryland in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Severna Park United Methodist Church, 731 Benfield Rd. Severna Park, MD 21146.
