Michael Joseph Kraus, of Baltimore, passed away on June 8, 2021 at his home. He was born on April 8, 1959 to Richard and Jeanne Kraus in Portsmouth, Virginia. He was raised in Severna Park and attended Jones Elementary, then later Severna Park High School. He was in the boy scouts of America where he became an Eagle Scout. Michael was in the Army for 2 years and was a handyman and house painter. He enjoyed gardening and was a sports fan. He loved to meet new people and would talk to anyone. He had an enormous amount of friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Richard T. Kraus and his brother Richard C. Kraus. He is survived by his mother, Jeanne Kraus of Baltimore; his brothers, John Kraus and Paul Kraus; his sisters, Kate Kraus and Elizabeth Ferko; as well as his many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial celebration will be held at a later date. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
