Marilyn Weast Rorick, age 74, passed away on March 18th, 2021 at home.

Marilyn was born on March 14th, 1947 to the late Robert Calvin Weast and Margaret Weiser Weast of Lakewood, Ohio.  She grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, attended Connecticut College in New London, CT,  and earned her MBA from Boston University.  She was a banker, a real estate agent, and a math and economics teacher at Southern High School, retiring in 2009.

Marilyn was married to the love of her life, Dr. Jay (Tom) Rorick for over 50 years.  They had three children, Dr. Elizabeth Duque (Andy), Katherine Wilcox (Harrison), and Jacob T. Rorick.  She is survived by her husband and children, along with her five grandchildren, Joshua, Evelyn, Haley, Burr, and Maddy and her brother Randy Weast (Donna) of Asheville, NC.

Marilyn was active in her church, serving as an elder,  teaching adult Sunday School, and singing in the choir. An avid reader and bridge player, she was involved in multiple book and bridge groups. Marilyn loved Maryland but her favorite place was the family cottage on Mullett Lake, Michigan, where she swam, sailed, and summered for over 60 years.

She was a wonderful mother, a loving spouse, and a great friend, who was ruthlessly organized and no-nonsense to the very last.  She will be missed by all.
