Maria Antonia Priola, a longtime resident of Severna Park, MD (affectionately known as Mama from Maria's Restaurant in Downtown Annapolis) passed peacefully at her home on May 4, 2020 at the age of 81.

Maria was born and raised in Misilmeri, Sicily, Italy. She married the love of her life Giuseppe in 1957.  Together they came to the United States to begin their American Dream.

Maria was predeceased by her husband Giuseppe of 60 years in 2015.  She is survived by four children, Peter Priola and wife Laura, Sara Del Sesto and husband John, Frank Priola, and Charlie Priola and wife Susie; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

All services and burial will be private. A drive by procession is open to the public to show tribute to Maria and her family Saturday, May 9, 2020 1 pm at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7215 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie, MD 21061. Unfortunately, guests must remain in their vehicles at all times due to laws pertaining to the pandemic. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the DeCesaris Cancer Institute or Anne Arundel Medical Center, 2000 Medical Parkway, Belcher Pavilion, Suite 604 Annapolis, MD 21401.
