John Robert Jensen Jr. was born August 31, 1932 and passed on August 26, 2021 after a short illness just short of celebrating his 89th birthday.

Bob was preceded in death by his first wife Frances Jeanne Horneman Jensen in 2002 and is survived by his wife Marianne Wolf Degnan Jensen, his children Lisa Jensen Robbins, Lora Jensen Lyons, John R Jensen III, Erik C Jensen, Ann Degnan Helms, Kathy Degnan Goss, and Susan Degnan. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Bob was a resident of Severna Park for more than 40 years before moving to Baywoods in Annapolis.

He retired from the National Security Agency in 1987 after 35 years of federal service with the FBI, United States Army, and NSA.

His hobbies were his grandchildren, woodworking, traveling, and reading.

Family and Friends may visit on Wednesday September 1, 2021 from 1 pm to 3 pm, with a service being held at 3 pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146.
