On Friday July 30,2021, Bruce Michael Keaton passed away at the age of 67.  Bruce was born on May 18,1954 in Lynchburg Virginia to Charles and Dixie Keaton.  He grew up in Lynchburg where he attended Holy Cross Catholic School for 12 years.  He earned a B.S. in Business from Madison College (JMU now) in 1976.  On August 7,1976 he married Gayle Jones Pence.  They raised one son, Timothy.  As a young man Bruce began a lifetime dedication to coaching youth baseball and basketball.  Throughout his life he was an avid Oriole baseball fan and Redskin football fan.  He loved to travel and was well known for posting his photos of these adventures on social media.  In the business world he was known for his skill as an outstanding sales representative and his offer of friendship with the people he encountered.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father Charles, brother Robert and son Timothy.  He is survived by his wife Gayle, mother Dixie, sisters Laura, Mary Margaret and Virginia and his brothers John and Paul.

Family and Friends may visit on Wednesday August 4, 2021 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. Services will be held on Thursday at 2:00pm at the Severna Park United Methodist Church 731 Benfield Rd. Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment will be private.
