Zack Knight of Severna Park died Saturday, June 5, 2010, at Peninsula Regional Hospital-Salisbury, from injuries sustained from being hit by a car. He was born in Spring, TX, on April 22, 1988.

Zack attended elementary and secondary school in Cheshire, CT. He graduated from Severna Park High School in 2006. He attended Anne Arundel Community College prior to obtaining his business degree at Salisbury University in 2010. Zack was a founding member and president of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity-Salisbury University Chapter.

His interests revolved around friendships. Zack loved people. He valued making people of all ages smile and laugh. He was always willing to try new experiences. He lived each day fully, setting an example for making the most of each moment. Zack took pride in organizing and participating in Relay for Life events. He was a sportsman and enjoyed all sporting activities.

Zack is survived by his father, Gerald Knight, step-mother, Susan Knight, two siblings, Katherine Knight, age 24, and Haley Knight, age 19. Zack was preceded in death by his mother Barbara C. Knight (Connell) in 1997. Zack will be buried next to his mother in Cheshire, CT,

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 11, 2010, at the Chartwell Country Club in Severna Park, MD 21146. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Knight Family, LLC. The family has plans, over time, to establish a foundation in Zack's name.

Just as Zack valued friendships, the family, too, wishes to expresses their deepest gratitude for the extensive support and caring they've received during this very sad time.
