On January 20th, 2023, Yolanda E. Dobrydnio of Lima, Peru, and Glen Burnie, Maryland, died peacefully at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center after a brief illness surrounded by her loving family.

Yolanda was born in 1929 in Lima, Peru, the youngest of nine children. She was the last surviving child of her loving parents, Manuel Hernandez de San Martin and Luisa Bernuy. Yolanda moved to the United States in 1950. An avid dancer, it was no surprise she met her future husband, Ronald, at a dance. They married in 1953.

She was a loving wife and devoted mother that leaves behind her husband of 69 years and her children Lisa Flaherty (Tim), Richard, and Philip (Bill Moore). Her sparkle and charm will be missed by all that knew her. She is also survived by a large extended family in Lima. There are no burial plans at this time.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to a local Maryland chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, or The Johns Hopkins Breast Cancer Program.
