Winifred (Winnie) Wallace, a resident of Chester, MD since 1989, previously of Chartwell in Severna Park, Joyce Lane in Arnold and Huntington Station, NY., died on 1/6/2019.

She was born October 26, 1928 in New York City, NY to the late Sally Kenney Nulty and John Frederick Nulty. She was brought up in Bayside, Long Island and graduated from Bayside High School. She went on to study at Marymount College, 5 ^th Ave., NYC and Marymount College, Tarrytown-on-Hudson, NY where she received her BA degree in English Literature and Psychology.

She married the late William J. Wallace Jr. on September 27, 1952 and was a homemaker for many years. After her husband died in 1975 she went into the real estate field. In the late 1980's she opened her own real estate company – Wallace Realty LTD.

She retired in 1993 to pursue her love of travel with family and friends. She traveled to Europe many times and especially enjoyed Ireland, the British Isles, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Mykonos, Greece.

She was secretary of the Chartwell Community Association and an active member of the Chartwell Country Club, the Marymount Alumni Association, and the National Press Club.  She sang in the choir at St. Christopher's Church where she also volunteered in the Outreach Office for many years.

She is survived by her 5 loving children: William J. Wallace III (Kathleen), Scott J. Wallace (Vanna), Tracy W. London (Howard), Courtney W. Chambliss (Bruce), Meredith W. Claborn (James), 14 grandchildren - Lauren, Bruce Jr. (Meg), Scott Jr., Billy, Drew, Ben, Connor, Maggie, Sarah, Teresa, Bradley, Caroline, Brendan, Patrick  and her sister Sheila N. Hill (Elton) of Georgetown, Mass.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:30 am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. The burial will follow at St. Anne's Cemetery in Annapolis, MD.
