William Harvey Ray, 79, a resident of Salisbury, MD died on July 31, 2010 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, MD.
He was born on April 16, 1931 in Hillsboro, NC, where he was raised. He previously lived in Annapolis before residing in Salisbury.
Mr. Ray was employed as an Electrical Lineman. He was a member of the International of Electrical Workers Local Union # 70 and the Moose Lodge in Glen Burnie.
He enjoyed vegetable gardening, fishing, hunting, and taking care of his wife, Iolene, whom he loved dearly.
He is survived by his wife, Ines I. Ray of Salisbury; daughters, Darlene McArthur (Mike) of Princess Anne and Sharon Jernigan (Jim) of Pasadena; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Friends and family may visit at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, on Saturday, August 7, 2010 from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie.
