William H. Parker, 90, a resident of Arnold, died on October 27, 2011 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis.
He was born on October 29, 1920 in Landover, where he was raised. He served in the U.S. Marines during WWII.
He was employed with the U.S. Treasury, until his retirement, and worked for SIPIC.
William was a member of the Lions Club, VFW, American Legion, Elks, and National Association of Retired Federal Agents. He enjoyed fishing and boating.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Parker (nee Rowe), who passed away February 6, 2009.
He is survived by his son, Robert Parker (Kathy) of Selma, NC; stepson, Thomas Ditto (Andrea) of Arnold; daughter-in-law, Heather Finn of Milford, DE; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.
There will be a chapel service at MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, MD on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 11:30 AM.
