William Ostrowski, 79, passed away on May 17, 2023.

He was born to Stanley V. and Margaret (nee Crist) Ostrowski in Annapolis Maryland on April 20, 1944. William grew up in Arnold MD and attended Severna Park High School. He went on to earn his Bachelors degree and worked for the CSX Rail Road. After he retired, he worked for the Jacksonville Beach Police Department, and was a member of the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (CPAAA). He enjoyed fishing, hunting and traveling.

William is survived by his loving wife of almost 60 years, Cecelia Ostrowski of Jacksonville Florida; his sons William Ostrowski and his wife Kay of Hay Market Virginia, Daniel Ostrowski and his wife Dawn of Arnold Maryland, Shane Ostrowski and his wife Heather of Arnold Maryland, fourteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren, and his sisters Lonnie Kelly of Maryland, and Janice Brands of Arizona. William is preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Ostrowski.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation of your choice.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday May 25th from 6-8pm at Barranco Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Highway Severna Park MD 21146.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday May 26th at 10am at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway Severna Park MD 21146. His burial will follow the mass at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7215 Ritchie Highway Glen Burnie MD 21061.
