William H. Nelson, 91, of Severna Park, MD, died at Baltimore Washington Medical Center on May 16, 2009 after a brief illness.

Mr. Nelson was born on March 27, 1918 in St. Mary's County, MD, where he was also raised. He served in the United States Army during WW II. Mr. Nelson worked as a road construction supervisor with Williams Construction Company, where he retired after over 30 years of service. He enjoyed gardening and wood working.

Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife, Evelyn V. Nelson; his sons, John Nelson of Easton, MD and Gary Nelson of Pasadena, MD; his daughter, Linda Lewis of Mount Airy, MD; eight grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Nelson.

Family and friends may visit at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Trinity Bible Church 99 Truck House Road Severna Park, MD 21146 on Wednesday at 11:00 am.
