William A. Merelman, of Severna Park, MD, passed away on November 4 ^th , 2016.

William was born on August 20, 1931 to Alfred J. and Bernice E. Merelman (nee Millar) in Washington, D.C. where he was raised. He attended the University of Maryland as well as Temple University and earned a Master's Degree. He entered the United States Airforce in 1963 where he served until his retirement in 1985.

William was an artist in his free time and enjoyed painting.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Deborah Merelman; two children, Doreen Edelman of Herndon, VA and Jason Sheets of Ronkonkoma, NY. William is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Alex and Rachel Edelman.
