William C. Maupai, 61, of Millersville, died of natural causes Feb. 19 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie after a brief illness.
Born Aug. 23, 1944, in Jamaica, N.Y., Mr. Maupai was reared in Long Island, N.Y., and previously resided in Albany, N.Y., and Alexandria, Va.
He graduated from Memorial High School in New Hyde Park, N.Y., and attended the Omni House program. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and going to the movies.
He was the son of the late William and Florence Maupai.
Surviving are one sister, Carol Dunham of Millersville, and a nephew and a niece.
Services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Burial will be in Bestgate Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made to www.barrancofuneralhome.com.
