William Murphy III passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2019.  He was born August 1, 1937 to William Murphy, Jr. and Anne Cuthbert Murphy in Brooklyn NY.

He was predeceased by his wife, Lynne M. Murphy and grandson, Matthew Murphy.  Bill and Lynne were married on June 2, 1962. Together they had five children, Karen A. Conroy (Bobby) of Edgewater, William E. Murphy (Donna) of Owings, Richard G. Murphy (Kathy) of Hanover, Donald C. Murphy (Laura) of Annapolis and Douglas J. Murphy of Arnold.

He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 6-9pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146.
