William Daniel Houghtling, 55, a resident of Glen Burnie, passed away on May 23, 2016 at the Hospice of the Chesapeake Inpatient Care Center in Pasadena.
He was born on June 8, 1960 in Baltimore, raised in Glen Burnie, MD, and graduated from Andover High School.
William worked for Universal Foods in Dundalk for 25 years and was more recently employed by the Maryland Transportation Authority.
He enjoyed listening to music, riding motorcycles, and watching his grandson play sports.
William was preceded in death by his father, John Houghtling.
He is survived by his children, Nichole Elizabeth Tucker (Jon) of Gambrills, Kayla Marie Houghtling (Greg) of Annapolis, and Brooke Alexis Houghtling of Annapolis; his mother, Carole Lea Schoolman of Glen Burnie; two brothers, Michael Heath Schoolman and Richard Rudolph Schoolman, both of Glen Burnie; three grandchildren, Jackson Tucker (10 mos.), Alexiah Higgins (21 mos.), and Demetrius Manansala, Jr. (8 yrs.)
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 2:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service.
