William Dibble
William Jerry Dibble, 64, a resident of Annapolis for 24 years and formerly of Glen Burnie, died July 31 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mr. Dibble was born Feb. 21, 1942, in Norwich, N.Y., where he was reared. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War, serving two tours of duty.
He retired from Giant Foods after 30 years of service. His interests included military history.
His wife, Gisela V. Dibble, died Feb. 22, 2006. He was the father of the late Ilka Dibble. Surviving are one son, Terrence Robert Dibble of Annapolis; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday. Burial will follow in Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
