William Glenn DeBerry Jr., 75 of Salisbury, NC formally of Glen Burnie died at his sons home in Glen Burnie
on June 16th after a short illness.
He was born December 12, 1935 in Chesterfield, SC to the late William Glenn DeBerry Sr. and Lera DeBerry Wells.
He was employed by Acme and Food Lion Supermarkets as an Assistant Manager. He was a foster parent to over
70 children and adopted 4 children of his own. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Gauniel DeBerry of 41 years. He is survived by his sons Paul DeBerry and wife Karen of Glen Burnie, Timothy DeBerry and wife Shannon of North Carolina, and daughters Tina Pinion and husband Rick, and Billie Jo DeBerry all from North Carolina. He had eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his stepfather Edgar Wells of Brooklyn, brother James DeBerry of Pasadena, and
sister Ann Williams of Norfolk, VA.
A Memorial gathering will be held on Monday June 20, 2011 from 6-8:00pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A Severna Park Funeral Home.
Memorials in his name may be made to the National MS Society, Maryland Chapter 11403 Cronhill Dr, Suite East Owings Mills, MD 21117.
