William Owen Chalk, a resident of Pasadena died on December 28, 2012. Bill (Chalky) was raised in Millersville. He had a long and successful career as a heavy equipment mechanic at L. B. Smith, Inc. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his son, Scott Chalk and former wife Debbie Chalk. Chalky was an avid drag racer, and shared the love of collecting and restoring antique and vintage cars with his son. He also enjoyed browsing antique flea markets and automotive swap meets.
