Wilford "Pete" Street, Jr., 75, passed away after a long illness at home on February 24, 2013. Pete was born in Baltimore MD and was a resident of Severna Park since 1964.

A graduate of Baltimore Polytechnical Institute he went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. After returning to Maryland he then earned his Masters degree from George Washington University.

Pete worked for Westinghouse from 1963 to 1996. During his time with Westinghouse he worked with I.E.I. in Shiraz Iran and P.E.I. in Puerto Rico. He was a member of the Severna Park Jaycees, A charter member of the Severna Park Elks Club, and a member of the Industrial Engineers at Westinghouse. Pete enjoyed golf, sports, and his grandchildren.

Pete is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Jane Hill Street, daughter Debra Street Machin and her husband Barry, sons Jerry Street and his wife Suzie, Jeff Street and his wife Tammy, and Stephen Street and his wife Annie. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Richard Street, Marie Machin, Tyler Street, Robbie Gardner, Linda Blankenship, Kevin Adams and Steven Adams.

A memorial Service will be held on Monday March 4 from 6-9 PM at the Severna Park Elks Club – 160 Truck House Road Severna Park MD 21146.
