Wilbur Frederick Garde, Sr., 82, a resident of Severna Park, died on December 9, 2013 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.
He was born on April 16, 1931 in Baltimore and moved to Severna Park in 1958.
Wilbur retired in 1993 from Baltimore Air Coil Company. He enjoyed fishing, boating, and crabbing.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Blanche Garde of Severna Park; one son, Wilbur F. Garde, Jr. of Severna Park; and two sisters, Mary Anthony of Glen Burnie and Carolyn Garde of Severna Park. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit on Friday, December 13th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 14th at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Brooklyn, MD.
