Wilbur Finn
Wilbur H. "Bud" Finn, 81, of Annapolis, died of natural causes April 1 at The Arbor, Bay Woods' health care center, after a lengthy illness.
Born April 18, 1923, and reared in Baltimore, Mr. Finn was a resident of Kent Island for 30 years prior to moving to Annapolis.
He served in the Army during World War II in the Pacific Theater.
He retired from the Postal Service, where he worked as mail carrier in the Mount Washington area for 36 years. Subsequently he worked for the State of Maryland as a locksmith for five years.
He was a member of American Legion Post 278 of Kent Island and enjoyed listening to and watching sports, especially University of Notre Dame, fishing and crabbing.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret E. Finn, whom he married Feb. 13, 1954; one daughter, Judith L. Barnes of Annapolis; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and Monday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow in Lorraine Park Cemetery, 5608 Dogwood Road in Baltimore. As published in "The Capital Newspaper" Annapolis Md. 4/2/2005
