Warren F. Raymond was born on August 31, 1930 to W. F. Raymond and Celeste Adams in Cleveland, Ohio.
He passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed, he is already.
Warren served in the USAF from October 1950 to September 1954, leaving as Staff Sergeant.
After graduation from Cleveland State University (formerly Fenn College) in 1958 with a double major in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics he was employed at Westinghouse Electronic Systems Group. From 1958 to 1967 he designed sub-systems for airborne fire control radars. From 1967 to 1969 he was an engineering consultant at Ferranti Electronics in Edinburgh Scotland, UK for the Royal Navy and the Royal Airforce. Upon returning from Scotland, from 1970 to 1992 he worked on electronic counter measures, retiring in 1992, after 34 years.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Anne; four children, Warren L. Raymond, Deborah L. Heck (Dennis Humphrey), Judith L. Raymond, and Suzanne L. Driscoll (James); four grandchildren, Ian Heck (Leah), Alan Heck, Christopher Driscoll (Anna), and Cody Heck (Kellee); five great-grandchildren, Victoria, Ella, Callie, Harland, and Cash; his sister Marlene DeLuca and several nephews and nieces.
The viewing and funeral will be private, family only. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. The private interment will be held at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
