Warren Darby
Warren E. Darby, 75, a resident of Pasadena for 50 years, died of natural causes March 14 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness.
Mr. Darby was born March 13, 1933, in Baltimore and was raised in Brooklyn Park.
He was a retired Baltimore City police officer, and served in the Army from 1950 to 1953.
He was the past master of Corinthian Lodge 093, and was a member of the American Legion Post 277 and the Fraternal Order of Police, Baltimore City Lodge.
He enjoyed playing cards.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley E. Darby.
Survivors include three sons, Ray E. Darby of Collierville, Tenn., and Larry E. and Darrell E. Darby of Pasadena; one sister, Joan Broseker of Severna Park; and four grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Baltimore Retired Police Benevolent Association, Box 6217, Baltimore MD 21206.
