Wanda Joanne Leva, age 75, of Annapolis, and formerly of (Pigtown) Baltimore, passed away suddenly at home on March 11, 2015. Born July 25, 1939 to, Walter Hartzell and Ethel Pauline(Piner)Hartzell on Calhoun St. in Baltimore. She graduated from Gwynns Falls Park Jr. High School in 1956, and then attended Eastern High School. She was the widow of Salvatore J. Leva.They were married for 38 years.

She was a homemaker, and also a childcare provider for many years.She especially enjoyed caring for her grandchildren. Her hobbies included shopping, bowling, baking, and watching sports. She loved the Ravens and the Orioles. She also enjoyed weekend trips to Berkley Springs, West Virginia with her husband. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her five children; Salvatore S. Leva(Sandy), of Severn, Md., Sandra Herrmann(Frank), of Annapolis, Constance Belcher(Wade),of Edgewater, Md., Thomas Leva, of the home, and Karen Leva(Michael), of Stevensville, Md. She has six grandchildren,Derek and Lauren Spiegel,Stephanie and Jessica Herrmann,Courtney and Hayley Belcher,and one great-granddaughter, Mia Spiegel. She was a loving sister to Reda Burk, the late Edwin Hartzell, the late Lou Hartzell, Marland Hartzell, and Ellen McKenna. She was loved by many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Friends may visit on Sunday March 15, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8:00pm at the Barranco & Sons,P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. Services will be held on Monday March 16, 2015 at 11:00am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Meadowridge Memorial Park Cemetery.
