Walter Thomas (Tom) Maguire, Jr. (84) died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 26, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born to Anna Mae Hough Maguire and Walter Thomas Maguire in Baltimore, MD. He attended McDonogh School for 12 years and earned his degree in Accounting from Loyola University, Baltimore.
Tom served our Country during the Korean War and then began his career with the Department of Defense. In later years, he advanced to auditing for the Office of the Inspector General in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Being a man of sincere devotion to his family and faith, he was a member of St. Hilary's Traditional Roman Catholic Church. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather (Pop-Pop), and uncle. He loved being surrounded by his family of girls, including his dogs, Peaches and Miss Lucy.
He loved everything about flying. Tom treasured his years as an amateur pilot and enjoyed following the performances of the Navy's Blue Angels. As a true Baltimorean, he cheered for the COLTS, STALLIONS, RAVENS and ORIOLES. He enjoyed photography and developing his own photos in his darkroom. When the weather was beautiful, Tom enjoyed watching the ocean from his Ocean City condo balcony.

Tom enjoyed staying current on politics, finances, and World events. A special interest was discussing History with friends and family.
