Vivian L. Karcher, 82, passed away on Thursday August 10,2023 in her home in sleep surrounded by family.

Vivian was born on October 20, 1940, in Johnstown PA where she grew up. After graduating from Westmont high school, Vivian met the love of her life Regis Karcher. Together they had five children and two grandchildren. Vivian and Regis moved to Severna Park in August 1981. Vivian worked as a Secretary for the Department of the Navy, and later for Anne Arundel County Department of Planning and Zoning.

Vivian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and devout Christian. She was an outgoing person who loved spending time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday August 18, 2023 from 9:00am-10:00am at Barranco Severna Park Funeral & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Richie Hwy Severna Park MD 21146. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday August 18, 2023 at 11:00am at St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park MD 21146.  Internment at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 W Central Ave Davidsonville, MD 21035.
