Viriginia Margaret Stroh passed away on August 20, 2023.

Virginia was born on May 4, 1932 in Baltimore MD, to her parents Allen Patterson Vane and Margaret Catherine (neé Franklin) Vane. She was raised as a Lutheran and her faith was an important part of her life. She married the love of her life on October 2, 1954 and they raised a family together. Virginia worked as a waitress and bartended at Riverdale Restaurant, which her parents owned, where she met her husband C. Sheldon Stroh, Sr. and then became a homemaker and raised 3 children.  In her spare-time she enjoyed sewing, bowling, and camping.

Virginia is survived by her son, C. Sheldon Stroh Jr. of Havre de Grace, MD; her daughters Pamela Lea Stroh of Pasadena, MD, and Karen Lynn Sale of Arnold, MD; her seven grandchildren, Cybil Marie Hart of Florence, SC, Tiffanie Lynn Smeltzer of York, PA, James Tyler Stroh of Joppa, MD, Jennifer Marie Ferrell of Harwood, MD, Jeffrey Howard Sale of Littlestown, PA, Bryan T. Hewitt of Havre de Grace, MD, and Danielle N. Anwana of Havre de Grace, MD; and ten great grandchildren.

A private celebration of life for family and close friends was held on August 27th.
