Virginia Ruth Stallings, 90, of Annapolis, died Feb. 14 at the Heritage Harbour Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Stallings was born May 20,1916 in McKees Rocks, Pa., and lived in Baltimore and Pikesville before moving 10 years ago to reside with her daughter. A graduate of Western High School, she worked at Hutzler Brothers Department Store for 26 years in the glove, display and the accounts payable departments.
She liked traveling, needlework and cooking.
Survivors include one daughter, Arline C. Kirk of Annapolis; two brothers, Alfred and Duane Hasenei of Maryland; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was pre-deceased by her first husband, John Edward Stallings in 1945 and by her second husband, Maurice Ellsworth Flather, in 1997. She was the mother of the late Janice Irene Warden, the daughter of the late Minnie and James Hasenei and the sister of the late Gordon, James and Emory Hasenei.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home where the service will be at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Baltimore County.
