Virginia Mitchell Martin, a current resident of Severna Park, died on October 5, 2015 at the ripe old age of 91. She had moved back from Sarasota, Florida just last year to be closer to her family.
Her husband of over 60 years, William Martin, died last year. She is survived by her son, William Martin and daughter, Deborah Vaughn, as well as four grandchildren; Billy, Sarah, Michael and Bryan and two great grandchildren; Dreavyn and Zander.
A long-time resident of Severna Park and an active member of Chartwell Country Club, Virginia loved to play golf, play bridge and always enjoyed a good party. Virginia and Bill moved to Sarasota 25 years ago to take advantage of the weather. They were active participants in the Sarasota social life and loved their time there. She was also a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma while attending Hillsdale College.

A memorial service will be held at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville on Thursday, October 8th, 2015 at 1pm.
