Virginia "Ginny" Hinkle (nee Hartsell), 76, of Severna Park, MD, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021.

She was born to Ruth (nee Morgan) and Joe Hartsell on March 8, 1945, in Baltimore and graduated from Eastern High School. Virginia married her husband, Robert Hinkle, on November 30, 1963, in Baltimore. She went on to have a career with the National Security Agency for over thirty years. In addition, Virginia enjoyed reading, travel, bridge, and volunteering for Partners In Care.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Hinkle, of Severna Park; sons, Gregory Hinkle (Deborah), of Baltimore and Jeffrey Hinkle (Andrea Brown), of Annapolis; daughter, Susan Hinkle Howard (Christopher), of Millersville; and grandchildren, Connor Hinkle, Courtney Hinkle, Griffin Hinkle, Madeline Howard, and John Howard.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, June 20, 2021, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. The following day, a memorial service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021, at 11 am at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd, Severna Park, MD 21146. A private burial will take place directly after the memorial service at Fairview Cemetery in Wrightsville, PA.
