Victoria "Tori" Anne Selimis, nee Young, a resident of Woodbine, MD, lost her battle with breast cancer on October 14, 2014 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore where she was lovingly surrounded by family and friends.

She was born on October 26, 1975 in Washington, DC and raised in Millersville, MD. While growing up, she was a cheerleader and an active member of 4H before she graduated from Old Mill High School in 1993. As an Alpha Omicron Pi sister, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in both Computer Science and Mathematics from Elon University in 1997. She continued her education earning a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola University in 2006. Tori began her professional career at the National Security Agency in 1997. She continued her career at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, DigiFlight, and most recently with Varen Technologies.

Tori is survived by her husband, Nick Selimis, of six years. She was a loving mother to son Lex (4) and daughter Olive (2); a cherished daughter to Anne and Mack Young of Severna Park, MD; a beloved sister of Robin and Stacey Young of Abingdon, MD; and a treasured aunt to Shelby, Riley and Cullen Young. She was a friend to many and always had room in her heart for more. She was driven and successful in all aspects of her life with an unquenchable thirst for new adventures, travel, and her family. The world will continue to spin, but won't spin as true.

Friends may pay their respects on Friday October 17, 2014 from 2-4:00pm and again, from 6-8:00pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A Severna Park Funeral Home at 495 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park, MD 21146. A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 18, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 1110 St. Stephen's Church Rd Crownsville, MD 21032. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. Light refreshments to be served at St. Stephen's.
