Veronica J. Rozanski, 79, a seven-year resident of Severna Park, died of natural causes Nov. 16 at Genesis HealthCare Severna Park Center after a brief illness.

Born July 27, 1928, in Philadelphia, where she was reared, Mrs. Rozanski was also a past resident of New Castle, Pa. She attended Nativity BVM Elementary and Little Flower Catholic High School in Philadelphia, where she was an active alumnus.

Mrs. Rozanski was a homemaker and a past employee at both Curtis Publishing Company and Kings Jewelers.

She was a 50-year member of the Ideal Hobby Club and belonged to St. Camillus Church in New Castle, where she served in the Ladies Guild.

She was the widow of Chester W. Rozanski; daughter of the late Margaret and James Somers Sr.; and sister of the late Marian Coughlin, Margaret Hart and James Somers Jr. Surviving are three daughters, Margaret Rafalko of Pittsburgh, Joan Motsco of Severna Park and Teresa Chamberlain of Shallotte, N.C.; three sons, Chester Rozanski of Philadelphia, Paul Rozanski of Sonoma, Calif., and Mark Rozanski of Norfolk, Va.; and eight grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 21 at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 1451 Furnace Ave. in Glen Burnie. Burial is private.
