Veronica Catherine Rzepkowski , (nee Gnacyk) 82, of Pasadena, died peacefully on February 19, 2014.

Veronica was born in Baltimore on January 13, 1932. Shortly after marrying, she and her husband, Walter J. Rzepkowski Sr. built a home in Glen Burnie and later in Pasadena where they resided for almost 60 years. She worked side by side with him at the family owned packaged goods store for a time and then stayed home to raise her family. She was an active member of the Knights of Columbus McGivney Ladies Guild. Veronica loved taking cruises with her husband, listening to Polish music, playing the card game "Fan-tan" and most of all being with her family. Veronica and Walter built a home where everyone was always welcomed. There wasn't a single holiday ever missed by family members who came to enjoy themselves in the warm, loving and fun environment.

She is survived by her husband Walter J. Rzepkowski Sr. and their eight children: Dolores Schlein, Walter Jerome Jr. , Kenneth, Robert , Donna Coberly, Steven , Alan and the Honorable James E. Rzepkowski. Veronica was also blessed with 18 beautiful grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm tomorrow and Friday at Barranco & Sons Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30am at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Linthicum. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
