Veronica (Ronnie) Lillian Lloyd, beloved wife, mother, nana, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on September 27, 2022.

Ronnie attended Severna Park High School where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Gerard (Archie) of 37 years.

Ronnie was raised in Arnold, MD and moved to Pasadena, MD where she resided for 56 years until August 2021 when she fulfilled her lifelong dream of living at the beach.

Ronnie's passion was her family and her ten grandchildren. She loved spending time with them and creating memories that will forever be embedded in their hearts. She dedicated her life to serving the community of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The staff she worked with were treated like family and were nurtured into great staff members. She embraced many within this community as if they were her own children. She started her career at Providence Center in Arnold and then worked as a program coordinator at Opportunity Builders and the Arc until she retired.

Ronnie enjoyed her family, being with people, the beach, and fellowship at her church. Her contagious positive energy and optimistic outlook on life are what helped define Ronnie and what drew people to want to be with her. Ronnie left an indelible mark on everyone she met. While she surrounded herself with many people and made some amazing friendships throughout her life journey, she made some unforgettable memories with her best friends, Aunt Delores Volker and Sandy Brown. She was happiest at the beach as the beach was her dream and her sanctuary. She spent her last couple of months at her bayfront condo enjoying the beautiful bayside sunsets, entertaining family and friends and simply living "her dream." Ronnie had a strong faith and enjoyed the fellowship with her church family at Chesapeake Christian Center.

Her family was most important to her. She is survived by her children; son, Gerard Lloyd, Jr. and wife, Renae of Severna Park, MD; daughter, Tammy Taylor and husband, Russell of Bethany Beach, DE; daughter, Kimberly Shinnamon and husband, Fred of Glen Burnie, MD; son, Nick and wife Karen of Arnold, MD; and her ten grandchildren, Gerard III, Sierrah, Kelsey, Cheyenne, Caynnan, Rebekah, Rachel, Emilio, Jennifer and Nolan. She is survived by her siblings, Rick, Steve, Jean, Bonnie, Kathy, and survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ronnie is pre-deceased by her husband Gerard (Archie) Lloyd, her father and mother, Richard and Geraldine Clutz, and her brothers, Michael and James Clutz.
