On June 18, 2019, Vernon E. Lohrmann, Sr. passed at his home after a long battle with congestive heart failure, he was 85. He was born in Baltimore and moved to Pasadena, MD in 1948. Vernon attended Glen Burnie High School class of '53. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and became a brace & prosthetic maker while serving. He married Rosalie S. (Smith) in 1955. She died in 2002. He had various occupations throughout his life and retired as an Inspector in Road Construction.

Vernon enjoyed many activities, but was most fond of camping, woodworking, watching sports and bowling (duckpin). He was a member of the Professional Duckpin Bowling Association, receiving many awards throughout the years. He attended Anchor Baptist Church in Millersville and is a charter member of Severna Park Elks, where he served as Esquire in the past.

He is survived by, his three sons Vernon E. Lohrmann, Jr. of Pasadena, Stephen D. Lohrmann of Laurel, Jeffrey L. Lohrmann of Pasadena; one sister, Eileen E. Hester of Severna Park; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and many cousins, family and friends.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home and Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10:30 am at the funeral home. The interment will follow the service and be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7231 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
