Van Buren Browning, formerly of Houston, TX, passed away October 20, 2017, after a brief illness, surrounded by family and friends in Annapolis, Maryland.

Van was born December 4, 1941, in Huntington, WV to parents, William Eldon Browning and Frankie Edmondson Browning.  His early years were spent in West Virginia and Ohio, where he graduated from Jackson High School in Jackson, OH.

He was a proud Navy veteran, and after his service he moved to Houston in the early '60s and owned and operated Browning Office Supply until his retirement. After spending several years in retirement, living and working on his ranch in Jewett, TX, Van traveled the country in his 5th Wheel and made Odenton, MD his home base for the last two years.
