Ursula Johanna Gahn Huebner, age 88, passed away suddenly on September 25, 2025, in Severna Park, Maryland. Born on August 19, 1937 in Hof, Germany, to Frieda and Ludwig Gahn. She worked in her parent’s fruit and vegetable store. After it closed, she worked in a factory that made customized men’s dress shirts, where she ironed everything that was produced. Ursula and Gerhard were married on July 27, 1957 in Hof – Marienkirch (Church). Ursula immigrated to the United States in 1963 with her husband Gerhard and son Ralph. Living in Kensington, MD until 2000, then moving to Severna Park, MD. She worked for the Germany Military Representatives near Dulles Airport. Ursula enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach, NC and in Disney, Orlando, Fl, boating, waterskiing, word search puzzles, and watching ‘Let’s Make a Deal’. She was a meticulous homemaker and a wonderful cook. She maintained her yard as fastidiously as she did her home. She loved all holidays, decorating the living areas with seasonal décor and candles on every space available, and lights, windsocks and yard décor outdoors. She made authentic German meals, daily, hot meals were eaten at 11am, cake and coffee at 2pm, light cold meal at 5pm. Ursula was married to husband, Gerhard for 68 years. She was a devoted mother to her sons Ralph and Gerhard and an adoring grandmother and great grandmother. Her legacy continues with daughter-in-law’s Lee and Laura, grandchildren Ralph Jr., Charlie, Heather, and Brendan, grand daughter-in-law’s Amber and Brittney, Rachel, and great grandchildren Storm and Paisley.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm on November 29, 2025, at 411 McClellan Dr., Frederick, MD.
