Tracy Dean Crawford, 58, of Osprey, Florida, passed away on April 22, 2016.
Tracy was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on September 25, 1957. Before moving to Florida, he lived in Annapolis, Maryland where he retired from Verizon as a Cable Splicing Technician.
Tracy was an avid baseball and WVU Mountaineer fan. He loved the West Virginia hills, the Florida Gulf Coast, and fishing with his grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willis Cleveland Crawford.
Tracy is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rebecca Koegler Crawford; daughters, Amber Woody, and her husband, Richard II, of Sharpsburg, Maryland; Katie Crawford-Petersen, and her husband, Blair, of Annapolis, Maryland; grandsons Logan and Luke Woody; Aaron and Sam Petersen.
He is also survived by his mother, Dorothy Nelson Crawford; brothers, Gary Crawford (Rosemary), Randy Crawford (Harriett), Terry Crawford, and Kelly Crawford (Mary Beth); sister, Paula Becca (Mike); and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family has requested that memorial gifts be directed to support the cancer research of Dr. Ronan Kelly at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center.
