Todd Colton Cruz, 21, died suddenly at his home in Chestertown, MD, on January 10, 2014, after succumbing to a lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
Todd, originally from Pasadena, MD., moved to the Eastern Shore with his family for the latter part of his life, where he enjoyed boating, jet skiing, skate boarding, music, video games and chilling with his friends and family. He enjoyed vacationing in Ocean City and Key West. Todd loved football and was a huge fan of Peyton Manning, so feel free to wear your favorite NFL jersey to the viewing, because Todd will be wearing his.
Todd is survived by his parents, Nancy and Eric Denton and his little brother, Sean, whom Todd lovingly referred to as "Gummi Bear" and "Pub Scout". He is also survived by his great grandfather, Jose Dela Cruz; his grandparents, Romulo "Pop-Pop" Dela Cruz and Mary "Minga -Mom" Dela Cruz; his grandmother, Peggy Denton; grandparents, Augusto and Janet Cruz. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and his beagle, Reggie, all who loved him very much.
Friends may visit on Friday January 17, 2014 from 4-8:00pm at the Barranco & Sons,P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. Services will be held on Saturday January 18, 2014 at 10:00am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in the Meadowridge Memorial Park Cemetery.
