Thomas "Tommy" Scardina, Jr., 46, a resident of Severna Park, died suddenly on June 11, 2009, at home, due to heart failure.

He was born on February 21, 1963 in Annapolis, MD, and raised in Severna Park, MD.

Mr. Scardina worked with his father for 26 years at Scardina Hair Salon and presently was working at Image Creators.

He enjoyed boating, waterskiing, football, and spending time with his children and family and friends.

Survivors include his daughter, Madison Scardina and son, Domonic Scardina, both of Severna Park, MD; his parents, Thomas Scardina, Sr. and Mary Jane Scardina of Arnold, MD; one sister, Lisa Garvin of Annapolis, MD; niece and nephew, Laura and Phillip Garvin; and many other loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Family and friends may visit on Sunday, June 14 and Monday, June 15 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Gov. Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 16 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to Partners In Care.
