Thomas A. Olsen, 86, husband of Patricia Olsen of Severna Park, Maryland, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2019.

Tom was born September 5, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio, where he attended Cathedral Latin School.  He was then stationed in Germany during the Korean War, where he served with the US Army's 826th Tank Battalion.  Following his honorable discharge, Tom returned home to Ohio where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Dayton. He and Pat were married in June of 1957 and remained happily married for 62 years, including a reaffirmation of their wedding vows on their 50th anniversary at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, in Annapolis, MD.

Drawn to the water, Tom and Pat began their nautical adventures by racing Rebel-16 sailboats in Ohio, and after moving to Maryland, spent 25 years sailing the Chesapeake, during which they were members of the Sailing Club of the Chesapeake.  An avid golfer, Tom retired as Regional Sales Manager at the Councill Craftsman Furniture company, to work a retiree's dream job as Marshal, with unlimited golf, at the Queenstown Golf Club (two holes-in-one).

He is survived by daughter Catherine Marie Oxford and her husband Ken of Severna Park, MD, grandchildren Laura and Tricia Oxford, and by son Jon Olsen of Glen Burnie, MD.
