Thomas Myers
Thomas Edward Myers, 66, a resident of Severna Park for 27 years, died suddenly due to complications after surgery March 11 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Mr. Myers was born June 9, 1941, to the late George and Ruth Myers, and was raised in Columbus, Ohio. He earned his bachelor's degree from Otterbein College in 1965, his master's degree at Central Michigan University in 1975 and his masters of business administration from Loyola College in 1985.
Mr. Myers retired as a project planner after working for Westinghouse and Northrop Grumman for 26 years.
He enjoyed golfing, playing chess and taking care of his family. He was also an avid reader.
He was preceded in death by one brother, David Myers.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Kay Myers; one son, Chad M. Myers of Severna Park; one daughter, Nicole M. Myers of Baltimore; and one sister, Linda Berg of Middleton, Ohio.
Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Severna Park United Methodist Church, 731 Benfield Road.
