Thomas "Tim" E. Amero, a longtime resident of Severna Park, MD, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2016.
He was born on December 17, 1957 in Beverly, MA and raised in Essex, MA until moving to Severna Park in 1975. Thomas, fondly called "Tim" by friends and family, graduated from Severna Park High School in 1977. He then went on to work at a local moving company for approximately 38 years.
Thomas was a passionate fan of the Boston Red Sox as well as the New England Patriots. He also enjoyed bowling. However, his top priority were his friends and family.
He is survived by his three sisters, Diane Pino of Chattanooga, TN, Lauren Girard of Beverly, MA, and Glenna Amero of Severna Park, MD. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, two great-nephews and a great-niece. He is predeceased by his mother, Beatrice J. Retalis, and step-father, George S. Retalis, previously of Severna Park.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park, where a Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 pm, following the visitation. Interment will be private.
