Thomas C. La Pallo Sr., 84, of Glen Burnie, died of heart failure March 23 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore after a lengthy illness.

Mr. La Pallo was born Feb. 20, 1921, in Luzerne, Pa., and raised in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He lived in Glen Burnie since 1965.

He was the owner and operator of Thomas Clothiers in Odenton. During World War II he served in the Army.

He enjoyed horse racing, music, wine and cooking.

Surviving are his wife, Rita C. Barberia La Pallo; one son, Thomas LaPallo Jr. of Millersville; three daughters, Diane Roselli of Alpha, N.J., Jean Marie La Pallo of Arnold and Judy Regala of Severna Park; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one grandson.

Memorial services will be at a later date. Burial is private.
