Thomas E. Fleming, Jr., 60, died at home, surrounded by his family on February 26, 2011, after a lengthy illness.
He was born on July 8, 1950 in Youngstown, Ohio, where he was raised, and has lived the past 36 years in Maryland.
Mr. Fleming retired in 2007 with the United States Capitol Police, after 32 years of service.
He loved spending time with his family, his "puppy dogs", and the church youth group at St. Andrew by the Bay.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Phyllis; two sons, Thomas III and Patrick; three brothers, James, Michael, and Jeffrey; one sister, LuAnn; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his youngest brother, John.
Family and friends are invited to an 11 AM Greeting in the Narthex, and a 12:00 pm Celebration of Life Mass on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at St. Andrew by the Bay, 701 College Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21409, with a reception to follow in the upper parish hall. Interment will be private.
