Thomas Christopher Cervasio, 18, died August 6 in a swimming accident at his neighborhood beach. He had been a student at Broadneck High School, participating in Unified Sports in bowling and bocce ball. Their grief is shared by many, many extended family members and friends.
Born in Annapolis, Maryland, known as "T.C" at school and "Tom Bomb" at camp, Thomas made friends throughout the community. He will be especially missed at Chesapeake Children's Museum, the East College Parkway 7-11 and TNT Hair Salon on Cape St. Claire Road. Among his joys were popular music, dancing, summer camp, art class, watching reruns of Seinfeld, and playing video games, like any teenager. He rooted for both the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Ravens. Thomas also enjoyed leisurely rides on the back of a BMW motorcycle and turned heads whenever he arrived at school or camp in this fashion.
Thomas was predeceased by a half sister Rachel Cervasio, his mother Bonnie Emory Cervasio who had family ties to the historic Log Inn on the Broadneck Peninsula, and his father Octavio Cervasio from Rio, Brazil.
