Thomas Levi Brown, of Annapolis, passed away on May 23, 2021 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He was born on March 28, 1935 in Maine. Thomas served in the Maine National Guard from 1952 to 1955, then went on to the U.S. Airforce from 1955 to 1977. During his time in the Airforce, he worked for the U.S. Airforce Security Service, the National Security Agency/ Central Security Service. He was sent on overseas assignments to Japan, Germany, Indochina, the Philippines, and Vietnam. After 22 years of service, he retired as a Master Sergeant and worked as a Defense Contractor.
Thomas was a devoted member of St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sons, Paul Brown, of Annapolis, MD and Peter Brown, of Pasadena, MD and two grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Margaret Mary Brown.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD, 21146. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11am at St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, 701 College Pkwy, Annapolis, MD, 21409. He will join his late wife at Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 3:00pm. Everyone attending the Arlington service must arrive at 2:15 and everyone over 16 must provide a valid government ID. Online condolences may be made at www.barrancofuneralhome.com
